The property was dated and very boxy. It will be used as a holiday home, so the owner wanted a clean open plan living space with good access and better usable space along with an upgraded family bathroom and ensuite. Being on the ground floor it will be ideal for users of all abilities, young and old, looking for a getaway within walking distance of the sea front.
The porch is now clad in grey composite weatherboard cladding which gives the property a modern feel and will withstand the harsh sea elements. This renovation allowed the owner to extend the bathroom into this space and the property now benefits from a full-size bath and separate shower.
Walls and doors were rearranged to allow an ensuite to be fitted to the master bedroom.
The dated fireplace and surround was removed. The living/diner has had modern double pocket doors added. The kitchen and bathroom were also fully refurbished and refitted. The property is now a stunning 2-bedroom 2-bathroom fabulous holiday home.
The steep crumbling steps from the Lounge have been replaced with a wooden decking area which you can step straight out onto. Then use the safe decking steps if you wish to go farther down the garden. This has created a lovely space to relax or entertain friends.
